Public transport
The cheapest way to get to the airport is to take the blue metro to the end of the line, Kőbánya-Kispest terminal, and board bus No 93. Bus 93 is available between about 5 am and 9 pm on business days, with a more limited service on Saturday.
Hotel transport
Some hotels have a hotel taxi service where the hotel pay the taxi fees. Others have a special agreement with some cab companies.
Minibus
Budapest Airport's frequent minibus service is a cheap and reliable way to reach any address in the downtown area. For a small surcharge, they'll even take you to districts further afield as long as the address is within city limits. Single or return tickets can be purchased from passenger service desks. By calling +36 1 296 8555 at least 12 hours before you intend to travel you can arrange for them to pick you up from your hotel. The shuttle operates from 6 am to 10 pm daily.
Taxi
Taxis are easily available from the airport. Most taxi services apply transfer fares, which is a lump-sum fare used for taking passengers to a Budapest destination. You may have to negotiate a fare before leaving as not all taxis have meters.
Car
The airport is easily accessible by car from Budapest. Ferihegy
is about twenty minutes away. There are plenty of parking
facilities. A number of companies offer car rental at the
airport.
